This educational trail starts next to the valley station of the Gütsch-Express gondola lift in Andermatt. From here, you walk up to the protection forest from where you can enjoy wonderful views of the valley. Along the way, hikers will find information panels with lots of interesting information about the avalanche barriers. The tasks of the protection forest are also explained. The destination of this route is the Nätschen train station.
