Cross-Country Skiing is the latest trend at present. What better way to train the whole body than out in the sun and fresh air? The Cross-Country tracks run along the valley floor from Andermatt via Hospental to Realp. They are prepared for both classic and skating techniques. Those who do not wish to ski the complete distance can restrict themselves to the shorter circular tracks around Andermatt or Realp.
Good snow conditions prevailing, the Cross-Country season in Urserntal starts at the beginning of December. The 28 kms tracks between Andermatt and Realp are groomed daily.

Gloria and her friends Selma and Sämi are totally crazy about the cold season of the year. Hibernation is therefore not an alternative for them. They much prefer to spend all their free time out on the Cross Country tracks in the Ursern Valley and in the meantime consider themselves professionals.
With the help of five simple exercise charts the animal trio show cross country skiers how to improve their technique and at the same time to enjoy themselves.
The theme trail "On Gloria's Tracks" can be found on the two kilometre cross country section "Meer" and is suitable for all big and small skiers. The start is marked by a large notice board and can be found alongside The Nordic House in Andermatt.
