Guided tour " energy and environment "
Did you know? At one time, the village of Andermatt was to be submerged in a reservoir. Fortunately, the people of the Ursern valley successfully resisted these plans. Nevertheless, Andermatt has been consistently relying on renewable energies for 120 years. The wind park, many small hydroelectric power stations and the district heating from Göschenen are the best proofs of this. The exciting tour includes a visit to the headquarters of the Ursern Electricity Station as well as to the transfer station at The Hotel Chedi or the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen.
