Talmuseum in Andermatt

Talmuseum

The Talmuseum is amongst the most beautiful of chalet type houses in the Ursern valley and was built in 1786. The inside of the building is decorated in a characteristic style of the area. A visit to the museum will give you an insight into the history, customs and housing tradition of the Ursern valley.

Opening hours: from Wednesday to Saturday (in winter also Sunday), 16.00 – 18.00 h. Goups on request.

Gotthardmuseum

On the top of the Gotthardpass, about 2100 meters, you will find a singular museum covering the history of the Gotthardpass and the road over it.

June – October (whilst the Pass is open):
Daily from 09.00 am to 6.00 pm

Festungsmuseum

It is part of the Nationalen St.-Gotthard-Museums.

Opening hours:
June – October (whilst the Pass is open)
Daily from 09.00 am to 12.00 am and from 01.00 pm to 06.00 pm
