The Ursern valley is ideally situated for guests travelling from the North, South, East or West. From Basel or Lugano ninety minutes travel on the A2 motorway is all that is required. Leave the motorway at the Göschenen exit and arrive in Andermatt some 15 minutes later.
If you travel by train you transfer at Göschenen to the small track cog-train of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Railway and arrive at Andermatt a few minutes later.
